Amtrak

Sometimes I think Amtrak's sole purpose of existence is to annoy the hell out of me. 1) The trains are almost always late when I'm at the train station on time and are on time when I am running late. 2) The schedule is ridiculous. On Fridays, if you don't make it to the Solana Beach station by 6:28PM, the next train is only at 9pm, and good luck making it there by 6:30pm in a Friday rush hour traffic. 3) People selling tickets are lazy, rude and clueless. Or maybe it's their computer system that is clueless, dunno, but one time I was waiting for a train. It was running late and 5 minutes after the scheduled departure time they announced that the train will be 10 mins late... 20 minutes later they announced that the train hasn't yet left the San Diego station... WT??? ended up waiting for another 1.5hr.
